That is so utterly retarded I don't even know what to say.
no, not retarded at all...
that's how most of the trance Djs behave behind the desk... doesn't matter wether djing or putting up a "live" set.
I forgot to put "pretend" in...
The reason I think this video is so great is because it hits right on the head on so many little instances that make the electronic music scene ridiculous.
First, you have the exagerated "performing" that so many DJ's and many livePA acts do.
Second, I think it has the obligatory "knob twisting" which for whatever reason just comes off as hilarious in any LivePA video.
Lastly, I like the fact that he is playing a VHS box. It is the whole black box phenomenon that we have. People have no idea what DJ's let alone LivePA artists are doing on stage. He could probably walk into a club with that, do what he is doing and fool almost everyone in there.
You all need to have a little humor at our own expense sometimes.
